Which Polish to Choose

Loreal — everyday brightening. Diamond — higher glow for photos. Sandal — richer finish when you want a soft dewy look. Pair with threading the same day when the floor allows.

The differences are real but smaller than the price gap suggests. All three are exfoliating polishes: a fine abrasive lifts dead surface cells, which is why skin looks brighter within the hour rather than over days. Loreal at Rs 900 is the workhorse and what most of our regulars book. Diamond at Rs 1,000 has a finer grit and leaves a slightly crisper finish that photographs better under flash. Sandal at Rs 1,200 is the gentlest of the three, sandalwood-based, and the one we reach for on skin that finds the others too brisk.

If you are choosing purely on result, Diamond before an event and Loreal for maintenance covers almost everyone. Sandal is worth the extra Rs 300 if your skin reddens easily.

Polish or Facial — Do Not Pay Twice

A polish is twenty-five minutes and Rs 900. A facial is forty-five minutes minimum and starts at Rs 1,400. They overlap more than most salons admit, because every facial we do already includes an exfoliation step. Booking a polish and a facial in the same visit means paying separately for the same work on your skin twice in an hour, and on reactive skin it is genuinely too much.

The honest guidance: if you have forty-five minutes and Rs 1,400, book the facial — it does everything the polish does and then feeds the skin as well. Book the polish when you have twenty-five minutes and an event tonight. That is the gap it fills, and it fills it better than anything else on the menu.

Timing It For an Event

Polish is the one glow service that works on the day. Skin looks its best about two to four hours after, which makes a late-morning appointment right for an evening function. Unlike a cleansing, there is no extraction and so no risk of lingering pinkness, and unlike a bleach there is nothing to settle overnight.

What not to do afterwards: no scrub at home that night, and no bleach on the same day. Freshly polished skin has just lost its surface layer, and putting bleach on it is the most common way clients end up with stinging they did not expect. What It Will Not Fix

Polish brightens dull, tired-looking skin. It does not fade dark spots, clear blackheads, or reduce acne — congestion needs deep cleansing and pigmentation needs a facial course. Polish is the fastest small improvement available, not a treatment, and we would rather you booked it knowing that.
